Arizona State Fair – 10/6-10-29 – YAY! The fair is back in the valley and is starting today! If you have not been to the AZ State Fair yet, this is a must. It is the largest state fair in the country and is rated the top 15 of North America Fairs. There is something for everyone. Also, don’t forget to check out the calendar for concerts and events. *Price: $10 Adults, $5 Children 5-13 & Seniors 55+ (Children under 5 get in free.)
Monster Jam – 10/7 – This is going to be a smashin’ event! Action packed live event on wheels. World class driver get together and tear up the dirt. Monster Jam features high octane spontaneous entertainment and intense competition, featuring the most recognizable trucks in the world. Glendale, AZ – University of Phoenix Stadium. Tickets vary in price, click here to purchase tickets.
Bacon and Beer Classic – 10/7 – Things happening here! Bacon and Beer! Oh My! Take time to explore the training home of the San Francisco Giants and enjoy some grub and suds. Live music and games. Scottsdale Stadium – Price: $39 GA; $55 extra hour with GA; $69 VIP + fees and tax.
Mac & Cheese Festival – 10/7 – Calling all Mac & Cheese lovers!! A day filled with comfort foods from the top chefs competing to win the “Golden Noodle” trophy. Yes, of course, there will be craft beers that pair perfectly with your samplings. Scottsdale Waterfront. Price: $15-$75
Corn Maze and Fall Festival at Vertuccio Farms – 10/6-11/5 – A daily event where you can attempt the 7-acre corn maze, visit the pumpkin patch, see the farm animals and so much more! Vertuccio Farms. Price: $9 per person Mon-Thurs, $10 per person Fri-Sun (Children 2 and younger free).
Arizona Dance Festival – 10/6-10/7 – Enjoy emerging artists as well as professional dance companies from all styles and genres. Tempe Center for the Arts. Prices vary: $20 Adult, $18 Senior, $15 Student, $13 Group of 10+ — $30 for 2 shows.
Uncorked Wine Festival – 10/7 – Want to spend the day tasting over 100 wines from across the country? Then this is the place for you! Enjoy gourmet food trucks, live music, and fun lawn games while you sip on wine. 21 and over event. Civic Space Park. Price: $55–$65
Brazilian Samba Queen and King Competition – 10/7 – Come out and enjoy this electrifying event this weekend. Get your authentic taste of Brazil! Watch some of the best dancers in the country battle for the national title. Enjoy live music and food why being mystified by the dancers. The Pressroom in Phoenix. Price: $25 (21 and over)
