Sun Lakes Transitional Kitchen

This transitional kitchen remodel in Sun Lakes completely redefined the home’s main living area, transforming a closed-off U-shaped layout into an open-concept kitchen, dining, and family space centered around a striking 12-foot island. The design prioritizes connection and gathering, removing the walls that previously separated the kitchen from the surrounding common areas. A structural 30-foot beam was introduced to support the new open span, allowing the entire space to flow seamlessly and function as one cohesive environment. Custom cabinetry by Showplace Cabinetry anchors the kitchen with clean, transitional styling that bridges classic comfort and modern simplicity. The expanded layout enhances both everyday living and large family gatherings, creating a central hub for connection, conversation, and entertaining.
