Our History

Premier Kitchen and Bath was founded on the idea of bringing seamless simplicity to the remodeling process. Greg Heden, our founder, worked more than a decade in the trades before assembling his team of in-house, dedicated professionals that today collectively offer the “Red Carpet Remodeling” experience. This means that Premier Kitchen and Bath designs, selects and procures, delivers, installs, and warranties all the products necessary for a complete custom remodel. Our ownership and responsibility of the entire project has produced an organized, and stress-free remodeling experience that has been embraced and appreciated by our clientele throughout the years. President & Founder

Greg Heden is the visionary leader behind Premier Design Build. Since founding the company in 1994, Greg has earned a reputation for excellence by blending innovative design, superior craftsmanship, and expert project management. With decades of experience, he has built a team of top-tier professionals, ensuring each project is executed with precision, quality, and meticulous attention to detail. Greg remains deeply involved in every aspect of the business, consistently delivering exceptional results that elevate residential living. In his spare time, Greg enjoys vacationing with his family.

Kent Redmond

VP Production & Operations

Kent Redmond’s 33-year career in residential project management is defined by his exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and high-level communication. He has a proven track record of successfully managing a wide range of residential projects, from custom-designed luxury homes and additions to large-scale remodeling projects. His expertise spans all facets of the construction process and trades, including design, budgeting, scheduling, and stringent quality control. Kent’s ability to lead, proactively address challenges, and communicate effectively ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and consistently exceed client expectations. For the past 10 years, Kent has been a valued member of the Premier Design Build team, where he has successfully completed over 500 significant residential projects.

Kym Davis

VP Sales & Design

Kym still maintains his passion for residential remodeling after 45 years because it revolves around families adapting their homes to fit their lifestyles. AS he’s gotten older, his talents and interests have evolved from the “designer” role to “mentor and trainer, developing systems and techniques that encourage our designer to be the best, personal creative consultants for our clients – to listen to their hopes, understand more of who they are, and guide them to what will enhance their lifestyles today and into the future. He thrives seeing the joy in the Premier team and the faces of families in their newly built-out spaces.

Kym is blessed to have been married to his wife of 44 years and has two grown children along with two grandchildren. He enjoys spending time will all of them, along with friends, golf, and studying the Bible.

Aaron Reyes

Project Manager

With 20 years of experience in the construction management industry, Aaron has established himself as a seasoned expert specializing in multifamily remodeling, custom home renovations and residential projects. His vast experience spans across a diverse range of construction sectors, where he has honed his skills in project management, budgeting, scheduling, problem solving and team leadership. His in-depth knowledge of multifamily and residential renovation allows him to navigate the unique challenges these projects present, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish. A strong advocate for precision and quality, Aaron places significant emphasis on maintaining open communication with clients, contractors, and project teams. He believes that collaboration is the key to success, and his ability to build strong, lasting relationships with all stakeholders has earned him a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy professional. His custom home renovation expertise shines in transforming clients’ visions into reality. Aaron’s commitment to delivering personalized, innovative solutions while upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship has made him a sought-after professional in the industry. Aaron’s extensive background, attention to detail, and leadership make him a valued asset in the construction management field, delivering results that reflect his passion for the industry and commitment to quality.

Stephanie K. Olesen-Bute

Interior Designer

Born outside of Chicago and raised in Wisconsin, Stephanie has spent 25 years immersed in the art of home building and remodeling. From an early age, she was involved in renovating her 100-year-old farmhouse, assisting her parents each winter with hands-on remodeling projects. Even in her small childhood bedroom, she honed her passion for design by frequently rearranging furniture and experimenting with spatial organization.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago, and throughout her career she has had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects across the United States. These include designing yachts, Aveda salons, car dealerships, and, of course, numerous exquisite homes. With every project, she approaches design with the philosophy that a home should serve as a sanctuary— a place where comfort, beauty, and functionality converge.

Rachel Herrera

Design Consultant

Rachel is a talented designer with a unique background in tile installation and design. After leaving the banking and brokerage industry 9 years ago, she made a big change and started working as a tile installer’s helper to earn additional income. Little did she know, that would be the start of her journey to becoming a successful business owner. Rachel dedicated years to learning the tile installation trade and eventually grew her team as word of her skills spread quickly. Her business flourished with the support of local homeowners, and she built a full-service remodeling business with a heavy focus on tile and tile design.

Now back in Arizona working as a designer for Premier Kitchen and Bath, she brings her expertise and passion for design to every project she works on. Outside of work, Rachel’s spends her free time with her husband, family and her dog Fuzz. She also enjoys writing, singing, and exploring nature, especially anywhere with trees. Rachel’s journey is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and talent in the field of interior design.

Chris Ebert

Design Consultant

Chris brings over 35 years of experience to the design industry, where his journey began in the creative hub of Chicago, Illinois. Early in his career, he discovered that his passion for cooking seamlessly complemented his work as an interior designer, inspiring him to specialize in kitchen design. With a personalized approach to each project, Chris ensures that every client achieves a unique and tailored space to call their own. He continually embraces the latest innovations in kitchen design, pushing the boundaries of creativity and functionality.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and a BFA from The Institute of Art in Denver. His exceptional work has garnered multiple awards and national recognition through publications. Now back in the west, Chris draws inspiration from the vibrant desert landscape, taking time to hike, soak in the beautiful weather, and find new ideas for his designs.

Kym Davis

Vice President Design & Sales

I was born in Wisconsin and have been in the design and remodeling industry my entire life.
I worked as a designer in WI right out of high school and through college. I received a degree in Interior Design then began working for several department stores and a contractor. When starting my own business, I obtained a contractor’s license which I ran until moving to AZ. I was president of the state’s chapter of the NKBA for several years and held many other positions for this association.
I have received several awards from years past, but my focus is not on personal awards but on the smiles and joyous words from our clients! Those are far more rewarding than any plaque!

Kent Redmond

Production Manager

I am a native of Arizona with 30 years’ experience in residential design and construction management. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, bicycle racing, coaching soccer, and most of all spending time with my beautiful wife and awesome kids.

Stephanie Olesen-Miller

Design

I was born outside of Chicago and raised in Wisconsin. I’ve been in home building and remodeling for over 20 years.
Every winter was spent helping my parents remodel our 100-year-old farm house and rearranging furniture in my tiny bedroom. My Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design is from The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. Throughout my time as an Interior Designer I’ve lived all over the US and have had lots of fun projects along the way. Including yachts, Aveda salons, car dealerships and many, many beautiful homes. As a designer I believe your home should be your sanctuary.
